Karthik, the creator of heavenly music started playing the percussion from his father and his guru Vidwan S. V. Giridhar. The extraordinary guru, an exponent of Mridangam, Morching and famous for classic South Indian rhyme that insists the soul to sing and dance has rectitude his student.
He creates a perfect blend of his Mridangam skills with introducing his mesmerizing electronic drums morsing, Khanjira, Konnakol, and Nattuvangam. He is one of the most talented percussionists in his generation and creates soothing dhun.
He and his instruments have made way to top festivals and Sabhas. His music reaches over the west and loved by people who had no prior knowledge. He has taken part in festivals in the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Netherlands, and India.
